Wolfgang Friedrich Wilhelm Pollack

Wolfgang passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the age of 81. 

Beloved Husband of Sharon (nee Hunter) for 59 years. Dear father of Michelle (Dave) and Kris (Krista). Loving Opa to Vicki, Heather, Mary and Ethan. Survived by his sisters Ilse and Heidi (Manfred) of Toronto and Ursel, Dörchen (sister-in-law) both of Hagen, Germany. He is also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Wolfgang arrived in Canada in April 1963. He met Sharon while learning how to speak English. They were married on May 21, 1965.

Wolfgang was a welder by trade and had many adventures on his different farms, especially at Redstone Farm.

He is predeceased by his parents Wilhelm and Augusta Pollack and siblings Gretchen, Harry and Erika. Brothers-in-law Georg, Franz and Heinz.

A special thank you to Dr. Morris and all of the caregivers in his final days.
