William Patterson Rennie

William Patterson Rennie "Bill" died Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents Charles & Mary Rennie, two brothers Gordon and Charlie, and his son David Rennie. He is survived by his sister Mary Kontio (nee Rennie), daughters Debra Metcalf (Brad) and Cindy Ann Rennie, his sons, Cameron and Kieron Rennie, and James Padluq. 

 He was loved by his grandchildren, Leigh Zakowski (Matt), Kyle Metcalf (Kayla), Ryan Metcalf (Sandra), Mallory Hamilton (Geordie), Remi and Pascal Desnoyers; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Metcalf, Matilda Zakowski, MacArthur and Elovie Metcalf. 

 Bill was the owner of Rennie Lift Equipment in Bolton. He was a true and accomplished salesman and businessman throughout his life. Bill was a fantastic chef, having trained in his younger years in Scotland. He cooked many wonderful meals for his family and friends.

 Bill was born in Newfoundland. He also spent many years in Iqaluit, Nunavut working with his brother Gordon. Bill moved back to Ontario and lived in Toronto, Sudbury, Caledon and finally retired in Orangeville. He also enjoyed visiting his sister, Mary and her family in Alabama. 

 A celebration of life will be planned after cremation has taken place.
