Wayne Douglas Litster

At Woods Park Care Centre, Wayne went home to his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the age of 79.

He was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, but spent most of his life in Simcoe County.

In his youth, Wayne was a good athlete in a variety of sports and liked to be very competitive.

Later, Wayne channelled his energies into working for many people doing renovations and gardening.

He also had many flower beds and vegetable gardens. The produce from his gardens was shared with family, friends and neighbours.

Wayne was happiest when he was working for others, tending his own gardens or doing woodworking.

Telling jokes and getting a positive response was really enjoyed by Wayne.

He was very kind and readily helped all that needed his assistance.

Wayne battled a number of health issues for most of his life.

Cherished brother to Gary W. Litster, uncle to Tanya Ritchie (Scott), uncle to Tracy Hexemer (Matt), great uncle of Kaylyn (Kyle), Laira, Chris (Brittany), Bryn and Jack. Great-great Uncle of Eden, and many cousins.

Wayne is predeceased by his parents Harold H. Litster and Betty C. Litster (Huntingford), his brother David Paul Litster and many aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
