Steve Wheeler

Steve passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Armstrong) for 48 years. Loved father to Angela O’Ryan (Chris) and Damon Wheeler (Kristin). Cherished grandfather to Callah and Maeven O’Ryan; and Harrison and Henley Wheeler. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Helen Wheeler. Dear brother to Rodney Wheeler (Aurea) and Betty Slade (Jack). Steve will be forever loved and remembered by his nieces and nephew Earl Wheeler, Crystal Williams, Charlene Slade-Newell, and his extended family and friends. 

A Visitation to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Hwy 400 side of building). Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
