Surrounded by family, Sharon passed away at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the age of 77. Her journey through life was a testament to diligence, creativity, and a profound appreciation for the beauty of nature and culinary delights.
Sharon dedicated 28 years of her career to Bell Canada, where her commitment and expertise left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the community. She was not just an employee; she was a beacon of reliability, embodying the values of hard work and perseverance that inspired those around her.
A woman of many talents, Sharon was renowned for her craftiness. She found joy in creating beautiful and unique items that reflected her imaginative spirit. Her skilled hands also spun magic in the kitchen; she was an excellent baker and cook, often delighting family and friends with her culinary creations that were as pleasing to the eye as they were to the palate. Each dish she prepared was a labor of love, crafted with care and generously shared, ensuring that no gathering was ever complete without her signature fare.
In her serene moments, she would immerse herself in her vegetable and flower gardens, where she cultivated not only plants but also a deep bond with the earth. Her passion for bird watching and feeding added another layer to her connection with nature, filling her life with the melodious songs of her feathered friends and the vibrant colors of her blossoms.

A service to celebrate the life of Sharon will be held at Barrie Free Methodist Church, 284 Cundles Road East, Barrie on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2 o'clock p.m. with light refreshments to follow.
