Roy George Harnett

Roy passed away peacefully, in his home, Friday March 29^th, 2024, at the age of 80. 

He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Nancy, and his children Gordon (Jacquie), Sandra (David), Craig Stephenson, and Shelley Van Kessel. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Carter, Chris, and Cayden (Van Kessel), and fondly remembered by Christopher, Matthew, Blake (pre-deceased), and Amanda. As well as his great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will also be remembered and missed by his brothers David (Peggy), and Ronald (Linda), and was pre-deceased by his sister Elizabeth (Neil).

Roy was born in Manuels, Newfoundland, but came to Ontario, where started to work with TTC (Gray Coach) retiring after a 30-year career. His love of driving led him to continue driving charter buses for a further 10 years.

As per Roy’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
