Mya Carolyn Elizabeth Sasseville

Mya Sasseville passed away in Toronto on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.  Beloved daughter of Jennifer Dicken (nee: Mauro) and the late Jerry (Dillan) Sasseville.  Loving granddaughter of Carolyn and Donald Knight and the Late Vito Mauro and partner of B. Menezes.  Dear niece of Mario Mauro, Erik Mauro and Devon Knight.  Leaving behind many friends and family.

Mya graduated from St. Joan of Arc last year and was working at a local restaurant where she was incredibly proud to have been promoted to Chef. She found joy in spending time with her friends, reading, drawing and gaming. She also had a strong love and connection with animals. Orcas, wolves and birds were among some of her favourites. She was looking forward to celebrating her 19th birthday with all of her friends on February 25th. 

Mya had a strong passion to help other people. She wanted to become a firefighter so she could do just that. As a young child she also wanted to become a pilot so she could travel the world. Her incredible old soul made it easy for people to talk to her and confide in her. 

She truly was one of a kind. Mya will always and forever be in our hearts and never forgotten.
