Mary Brown Tweedie Noonan

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Brown Tweedie Noonan (nee Chapman), at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario, on February 1, 2025, at the age of 85. Mary was born in Scotland in 1939 and came to Canada with her husband and two young daughters in 1967. She will be remembered as a hardworking, quiet and gentle soul who loved simple pleasures like gardening, reading and visiting with family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, John Noonan, her son Vincent, and her granddaughter Johanna. She will be greatly missed by her daughters Karen(Rich) and Irene, and her granddaughters Natasha (Alan), Michaela, Sarah and Sophia. Mary is survived by her siblings Fay(Ian decd.), Bob(Elenor), George(Janet decd.) and Nan(David). The family would like to thank all the caring staff at RVH who cared for Mary during her final months. Another special thank you goes out to Mary’s best friend, Ernestine, who always made the time to visit her throughout a lengthy period of illness. 

 Mary will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by loved ones. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
