Mary Margaret Allevato

Mary was born and raised in Welland, Ontario, and lived for a time in Toronto, Balm Beach and Midland before settling in Barrie. She is predeceased by her parents, Mary, nee Wnuk, and Joseph Allevato.

Mary is survived by her son Matthew Le Boeuf, his wife Shanley, and three grandchildren, Vivian, Sawyer and Nolan, of Barrie. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and John and his wife, Sammi, in Malaysia.

Mary had panache and great personal style. We used to kid that Mary was the shy one in the family because at times, she was bigger than life. She had a good sense of humour and was always kind and generous. A good friend of Mary’s remarked that “she had a big heart and was ready to give big love to anyone that would accept it”.

Rest in peace dear Mary.
