Margaret Shaver

Margaret Jean Shaver (Timm) October 2nd 1947 – February 2nd 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce that Margaret “Marg” Shaver (nee Timm) passed away suddenly of a heart attack early in the morning on February 2nd 2023 at Royal Victoria Regional Health Center in her 76th year. Marg was predeceased by her eldest sister Eunice (Roy); survived by her older sister Barbara (Peter); her daughters Leissa and Maria; her Grandchildren Katherine (Liam), Michael (Meaghan), Grace, Emily, and Alex, and many nieces and nephews. Marg’s comforting presence, humour, and gentle kindness will be missed by her daughters and grandkids.

A celebration of life will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Main entrance and parking on Highway 400 side of building) on Saturday, February 11th 2023, at 2pm, followed by a reception. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada in her name.
