Lois Ann Gibson

Born on May 25, 1929, Lois passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain etched in our hearts. Lois, often referred to as a kind and loving person, spent her life selflessly serving others and brought warmth to all those lucky enough to know her.

Family held utmost importance in Lois's life. She was deeply committed to nurturing meaningful relationships with loved ones.  Lois shared over 60 years of marriage with Ivan Gibson 

Lois treasured every moment spent with her family. Whether it was gathering around the dinner table or talking about sports (Toronto Blue Jays).  She cherished these moments filled with laughter and love. Lois believed in creating lasting memories that bound generations together.

Lois Ann Gibson's impact reached far beyond the boundaries of any obituary. Her kindness, love, and selflessness have had a profound influence on the lives of all who crossed her path. She will be remembered as a beacon of light in the lives she touched, a source of comfort during uncertain times, and an embodiment of unwavering love.

Lois is predeceased by her husband Ivan (2015). Loved mother of Robin Gibson, and Pamela Macdonald (Robert). Cherished Nana to Christopher Golzlin and Jordan Golzlin as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Jack Balsdon, Marie Turner, Donald Balsdon, and Norma Babcock.
