Called home to his Lord and Saviour on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Born on November 23, 1937 to Henry and Kathleen Gilbert. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Deane) for 58 years. Much loved Dad to Michael and Jan (Barrie), Paul and Heather (South Holland, USA), Ross and Wiarda Joy (Kitchener), and predeceased by Nicole (2023). Cherished Papa to Hannah, Madelyn, Zoe, Bella, and Faith, Andrew, Matthew, Owen, and Caleb. Dear brother to Beatrice Baron (Toronto). Funeral service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (entrance and parking on Hwy 400 side of building) on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Spring interment Stephenson Cemetery, Port Sydney, Ontario.
