Gladys Pierson

Gladys Mae Peckham Pierson went home to be with her Lord on October 3rd, 2024 at Barrie Manor in Barrie at the age of 100!

Gladys was born and raised in London, Ontario. Her parents William and Rose Seamen had seven children. Their names were Violet, Red, Gladys, Reggie, Marie, Barbara and Bobby. Gladys is survived by her sister Barbara, her son Gerry (Bonnie), daughter Sharon (Rick), son Wayne (Portia), son David. Her grandchildren are Jeanne (Brad), Jill (Dave), Jacob (Chelsey), Danielle, Debbie (Jason), Shari (Stuart). She had 10 great grandchildren and four Greatgrandchildren!!

Gladys was a devoted wife, loving mother and an energetic homemaker for most of her life. She had a flare for design and kept a beautiful home. 

She took great care with her appearance and when she worked in Ladies Fashion for a time, she inspired many of her customers.

Many of these traits she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

The family will have a private Memorial gathering with internment of her ashes at Forest Lawn in London, Ontario.
