Garry Lambright; beloved husband to Naomi, loving father to Elycia, Arianna, and Matthew, and a menagerie of pets, four birds, four cats, and two dogs. Dear brother of Bonnie (Uri) Habicht.
Born in Welland attending Welland Centennial Secondary School and grew up in the Niagara region.
He graduated BScHon Urban and Environmental Studies and Geography at Brock University and Municipal Planning and Development at Mohawk College. Working in one of his primary roles for 10 years with the Town of Innisfil.
Garry loved playing baseball with his extended families, children, and friends. He was also an assistant coach with Barrie Christian Hockey League.
A passionate worker, retired for health reasons and fought very hard for 18 months with the support of his family and health professionals to recover his health. He became heavily involved in his local community, helping his neighbours, lending a hand no matter what. Snowblowing, hedge trimming, fixing, and even carried a pocket full of treats for the local dogs.
A devout Christian, Garry attended Baptist Church in Welland, Toronto, and Barrie. He was actively involved throughout including mission trips, youth leading, teaching at Sunday School, bible studies, and coaching.
Kind, gentle, good sense of humour, patient, methodical, loving, caring, never saying a bad word about anyone and selfless: unless you touched his tool box of course!!!
