David Franklin Riseboro

David Franklin Riseboro, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away with family by his side on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie. He was born in Hamilton on April 11th, 1941. Dave is survived by his loving wife Helen St. Onge and his children Evan Riseboro (Caroline), Stephen St. Onge (Pauline), Darryl St. Onge, Tiffany Partridge (David); grandchildren Blake, Alex, Brianna, Deliah, Isaac, Ethan, Nicolas, Justin, Jacob, and Joshua. Dear brother to Claudine Suffern and Shirley Deboard. He was predeceased by his parents Claude and Frances Riseboro.

David will be remembered as a kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor who loved old cars. His contributions to the Ontario Government were greatly appreciated during his tenure as a surveyor.

Services will be held at Legacy Funeral Home located at 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (parking and entrance on Highway 400 side of building) with visitation  on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 9:30 - 11 am followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock am. Interment to follow at Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Road, Barrie. 

Dave's family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Simcoe for their compassionate care during his stay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's memory to Hospice Simcoe.

Dave's wit and love for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
