Alex Hosie Clark

Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on Sunday, January 9th, 2025 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Janet (nee McMillan). Loving father of Lynn Bateman & her husband Jim of Barrie and Stuart & his wife Angie of Campbell River, BC. Dear grandfather of Jimmy Bateman also of Barrie and the late Josh Bateman. He was the very proud great-grandfather of Emily. Alex is survived by his brother Bill & his wife Eleanor of Scotland, by his brother-in-law Bill & his wife Norma of BC and pre-deceased by his brother Tom (Arlo). Also survived by his nieces and nephews Carole, Gail, Donna, Robert, Colin, Aileen & Graeme. Alex returned from a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica with Lynn & Emily just a few days before his sudden passing. A service of remembrance will be held at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Cedar Pointe Drive, Barrie (Parking and Main Entrance on Hwy 400 side of building) on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025 at 12 noon with visitation from 11am until time of service. Friends are invited to join with the family in the funeral home for a reception following the service. Memorial donations to the Barrie Free Methodist Church would be appreciated.
